Jacques worked as a student graphic designer in my office, the Center for Distance Learning at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, for approximately two years. His valuable contributions made a tremendous impact with my day-to-day responsibilities and with the program. Jacques was instrumental in designing and creating numerous marketing materials for our program and graphic images for use in online course development and enhancement activities. These materials included brochures, customized CD labels, logos, flyers, newspaper ads, posters, and other promotional materials for recruiting.
Equally important, Jacques redesigned our departmental website and a special program initiative website, eArmyU. These sites played an integral role in increasing our overall presence on the web and recruiting potential students. Jacques also designed a Blackboard Training website to assist faculty with Blackboard usage.
Furthermore, he is a self-starter, competent, very well organized, hard working, highly motivated and always willing to lend a hand. In addition, he completes all given tasks in a timely manner and is very meticulous with details.
Finally, Jacques demonstrates good leadership and organizational skills that are essential for a successful professional to work in a democratic, but multidimensional world. He exhibits integrity in working with others while obtaining cooperation from his peers in achieving a goal.
